The first X Factor with (almost) a complete new judging panel was watched by 10.5 million views on Saturday.

The newly formed panel: N-Dubz’s Tulisa Contostavlos, former Destiny Child’s singer  Kelly Rowland, Gary Barlow from Take That and show veteran, Louis Walsh took their seats for the first round of auditions on ITV 1 Saturday evening. The four judges already seemed to have a sense of unity between them.

Kelly looked absolutely stunning, and was really honest with all the contestants. North London singer, Tulisa looked great too and was really down to earth.  Gary is trying to be the new Mr Nasty, but it’s not quite working and it seems Louis is just happy to still be on the show.

The show was full of the usual dreadful auditions as well as a few hopefuls that we’ll soon be following on twitter.

The show took a dramatic turn for the worst when 19 year old contestant George Gerasimou verbally attacked Tulisa calling her a ‘dog’ and ‘some scumbag from the block’ after he received bad comments from all four judges. Tulisa expectedly held her own though- Go Girl!

This series will be just as entertaining as the others. We may have missed super-judge Mr Simon Cowell, for all of five minutes!
