Hailing from Sydney, Indie rock band My Perfect Sunday released a cheeky new track dubbed ‘Caffeine, Honey.’

‘Caffeine, Honey’ is a song about sleep deprivation, overworking yourself and spreading yourself thin, so basically about every day life of humans.

The solution? Caffeine, honey, mixed with a swing your head side to side tune to satisfy your senses.

The track was written probably sometime just after high school (a long time ago) hence the unabashedly cheesy lyrics with some bob your head melodically driven tunes.

Accompanying the track is a killer video filmed in a 1976 Volkswagen Kombi, where the band posed under the guise of Uber drivers with a portable band. They still have no idea whether that’s legal or not.

My Perfect Sunday are a sickly sweet spot of thick, dual guitar textures, melodically driven tunes, enormous wannabe sing-along choruses and quirky lyrics from songs about the perils of drunk texting through to the unbearable traversing of Central Station during peak.

The band are a delightfully devilish five-piece indie rock band, hailing from Sydney’s Southern Suburbs. They are partial to 80’s love ballads, endless walks in monsoonal rain, well groomed facial hair, meandering conversations about nothing, and seasons 1-10 of the Simpsons.

My Perfect Sunday’s debut EP is set to be released early next year. Links | Instagram | Facebook
