Classical 6-piece ensemble ‘Esecutori di Metallo su Carta’ are the in-house ensemble for subscription based recording series ’19’40″‘ and they have recently released the first issue of this recording series, entitled ‘Progetto Generativo’.
It is an avant-garde series created by six musicians each from contrasting cultural backgrounds.
After forming in the Springtime of 2014 performing original covers from the Italian alternative and math rock era, the ensemble aim to bring together the genres of Italian alternative rock and classical music. The ensemble have performed a series of live concerts, with each being different to the next, undergoing an intervention of ‘hyper-interpretation’ – the sensitive relation with the social context where the performance takes place.
This particular recording series features an array of captivating experimental classical music, something that hasn’t yet been explored.
The ensemble are currently working on ‘Contemporarities 2016’ along with Enrico Gabrielli and Sebastiano De Gennaro, which is the first edition of their own festival in Milan, ending this Sunday 11th December.
