Dawn Richard, now simply known as DΔWN is taking her visuals to the next level. The former Danity Kane member debuts the sixth and seventh visual off her critically acclaimed album “Blackheart” titled “TitansXJamesDean”. The visual showcases her track “Titans” and her brand new track “James Dean”. The video was directed by Monty Marsh.
The first part of the visual focuses on Dawn blending in and out of focus in a double denim style while showing off her always on point dance moves. The choreographed moves put most well known established artists to shame in the dance scene. For the second part of the visual the music blends perfectly into her brand new track “James Dean”. Dawn wears a James Dean T-shirt, her own Black Era shades and high-heeled boots as she continues with some more slick moves to the upbeat track.
Here at Flavourmag we support all kinds of music but we especially love it when an independent, unsigned artist really brings fire to the music business. A shock to many but that is Dawn in a nut shell, an independent, unsigned artist! Its not usual for an artists with no major backing to score a number one in under six minutes, Miss Richard just did this and it ain’t the first time she has done it either! Surely this must be a world record or something, right?
