Flavour’s Noel Phillips at 1xtra Live by FlavourMag

Labrinth kicked off the musical proceedings in Manchester with two of his biggest hits, including Sunshine and Earthquake. He also spoke to us about his acting ambitions, the success of his current hit single and even played a very interesting game about which artists he would most like to work with.

Tinchy Stryder followed shortly alongside his partner in crime Dappy performing Spaceship. Before his performance, Tinchy sat down with us for a chat about why he’s backing Misha B to win The X Factor and to guess a few famous movie lines.

The Wretchroboy, aka, Wretch 32 rounded off the day with a brilliantly pleasurable set featuring surprising guests Etta Bond and Chipmunk. He told us about the exciting year he’s enjoyed, if he still sees much of Jermaine Scott, and we even gave him some handy tips on how to cure his phobia of foxes.

We also headed down to Birmingham the following day (29 Nov) to observe the likes of J Cole, Chase & Status and Maverick Sabre. The rising star spoke to us about the inspiration behind his name, what items he requires when on tour and we even taught him a few Irish slangs.
