G Swavey will release his debut 6 track EP project titled Let Me Think on 1st September 2018.
Garett Lopez (G Swavey), 21-year-old Puerto Rican living in Bronx NYC is an upcoming Hip Hop/Reggaeton artist who started producing music with only his iPhone. His latest EP is a sophisticatedly produced collection of self-written songs, both in his native language Spanish and English.
Every song on Let Me Think gives a different flavour of his life, letting us into his ‘Complicated’ love story in track 1 to showing off his Latin roots in ‘Charisma’. Throughout the progression of the tracks you hear his battle with emotions, ranging from a built up anger to his softer, open side.
Whilst creating Let Me Think, he has worked with Chuck Taylor who produced and mixed on Dave East’s “Karma2″ and Seth Jones who came up with the artwork.
G Swavey has been chasing his dream since he moved to the US aged just 14. Whilst earning a living as waiter, he travels up to the city to make music. Using his tips to buy studio time when he can.
G Swavey’s debut EP, Let Me Think will be released onto all major digital platforms on 1st September 2018.
