Urban music contest Hugo Urban Rules has signed up the Sugababes to headline an intimate show on December 3 in Cargo, London.
The winner of the contest will have their music professionally produced and will be supporting the Sugababes at the gig. Then MOBO Award-winning Kiss FM DJ Manny Norté will be manning the decks on the night, spinning the freshest hip hop, R’n’B and dancehall bangers. The show will be later broadcast on MTV.
On December 2 and 3 industry experts will give the 15 best submissions specialist tutorials in vocal coaching and stage craft.
Hugo Urban Rules is the only existing urban music platform that offers promising artists the chance to meet and receive invaluable advice from their musical idols. Previous artists have included Estelle, Jamelia, Amerie and Amy Winehouse.
Artists wishing to take part can upload demos at www.hugofragrances.com/urbanrules by November 17.
