American born Christian, Rise The Artist recently released his powerful single Unity (featuring Tony Jazzo) which aims to speak out about the violence in today’s society.

Inspired heavily by his Christian views, Unity (featuring Tony Jazzo) was written to spread peace and love through music by openly addressing current world issues such as terrorism and gun violence. His passionate lyrics and faith in God give the song a message that quickly resonates with the listener.

His sound has undeniable Bay Area influences as well as drawing inspiration from other artists such as ‘Lecrae’ and ‘E-40′. Hip Hop producer Blanq Beatz helped to make this tune instantly hook as it opens with a soft piano that progresses into Tony Jazzo’s’ catchy sound.

Rise The Artist is already familiar to success with the previous single “Everywhere I Go,” quickly becoming the most requested song of the week; surpassing Lecrae’s hit “Background” and coming in at number 4 on the charts on His Hop Radio in Las Vegas.

Alongside his single Unity (Featuring Tony Jazzo), Rise The Artist released a video to further enforce his no hate message. He hopes this video will get the same positive response as his older videos such as that of “Beautiful Love” which featured the camera work of “Ocean Ho” with model ” Autumn Farr” and the video for popular “Everywhere I Go” which featured ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ winner “Kida the Great”.

The new CD single Unity (Featuring Tony Jazzo), released on 3rd July, costs $2.99 and profits go to “United Playaz” which is a San Francisco-based violence prevention and youth development organisation.
