The feel-good movie of the year, Eddie The Eagle starring Taron Egerton as Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards and Hugh Jackman is out on Easter Monday and we got to spend some time with Director Dexter Fletcher for a chat about the film.

North London born Fletcher, who has been involved in the TV and Film Industries for 40 years, had his first big break as an actor back in 1976 starring alongside Jodie Foster at the tender age of 10 in Bugsy Malone.

The role that really made Fletcher a household name and much loved British actor came in the form of Spike in the TV series Press Gang back in 1989.

Over the years, Fletcher has gone on to star in films such as Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Layer Cake and Kick-Ass as well as Directing Wild Bill, Sunshine of Leith and now the heartwarming, based on the true story of the early life of Britains most unlikely hero, Eddie The Eagle.

Eddie the Eagle is out on Easter Monday, March 28.
