Jay – Mr Shellington, alternatively known as Njabulo, has recently released his newest single Pakistans on 15th January. His music reflects multiple genres ranging from Hip-hop, House and RnB through to Gospel and Soul.
His first experience with music composition came from joining a Gospel music group in Durban back in 2012. He later discovered his love for hip-hop and started creating demos, however, was careful not to abandoned his roots as his music still features elements of the gospels genre.
Jay – Mr Shellington says he doesn’t have a style of music; each track is unique and based on his specific feelings. Taking influences from artists such as R Kelly, he defines himself as “so street and Godly” as this reflects the lyricism of his track.
