Got to admit out of the releases so far from Jess Glynne’s album I Cry When I Laugh, the latest single, Gave Me Something is my favourite to date.
I listened to it on an early morning, about 6.30am while eating a warm bowl of porridge with raisins. By the time I finished that bowl having replayed this track twice I was; invigorated, inspired and feeling like I needed to carry out a day of good deeds to everyone. Even those individuals who come on the underground with their prepared speech about living on the street (which always fills you with a degree of disbelief) about not wanting to trouble you even though of course they are were going to benefit from my uplifted spirit.
It’s got that gospel feel and it’s brilliant!
