Since graduating from Berklee College of Music Lexxi Saal has wasted no time in returning to her music career releasing “Break a Bottle” back on March 20th.
“It was important for me to become a well-rounded musician, one who writes their own songs, who can walk into any studio and portray exactly what they envision in their original work. I had come to a fork in the road… should I go left or continue on the road I was on? I went left,” she explains. Saal shows wisdom beyond her mere 21 years on this planet, and she is reaping the rewards, having already shared the stage with pop behemoths Demi Lovato and Fifth Harmony,
In the ilk of the artists that inspire her – Dua Lipa, Sia and Rihanna – she wanted to create an iconic and universal lyric, Break a Bottle is this lyric; “This is one of my favourite lyrics from the song. I created something fresh that hasn’t been sung before which makes me love it even more.” The lyric simply means to have a good time on a night out – Let’s break a bottle!
