Written and co-directed by emerging playwright and director Babi Isako, ‘Love Is A Losing Game’ is based on a group of friends in their final year of University. It’s time to decide whether to hold on, or to let go and forget the past. Played by a remarkably talented cast, we join the friends on their journey through the ups and downs of life, on the roller coaster we call love.

Relationship titles seem to define how we feel and also how we treat the other person. From ‘boyfriend’, to ‘wifey’ to ‘one night stand’, if the other person is playing by different rules, a title means nothing, nada. Most of us ladies can relate that a title is very important to us, whereas men don’t see it as significant, or do they? Men are looking for that wifey material right? So maybe they do… just see it in a more territorial way.

‘Love Is A Losing Game’ is a fabulous interpretation of various aspects of real life and relationships. Some of us give our hearts without any conditions and others protect their heart with a digital lock high security safe. Either way, love is like the lottery, some of us are willing to take the gamble more than others, despite the consequences. One thing that we all have in common is we all want the jackpot, we all want to be winners in love.

From laugh out loud laughter to full blown drama,’ Love Is A Losing Game’ has you sitting at the edge of your seat, wanting MORE. Don’t be fooled by the title, it is far from a chick flick, men they got your backs too and you represent nicely. It will have you reminiscing on your past or current loves, like you are watching yourself on stage.
