In theory, it should be easy to meet women. After all, they represent 50% of the population, so it’s not like there are limited numbers out there (unless you like in China where the ratio of men: women is a bit skewed). Unfortunately, it isn’t that easy.
Whilst some men have women coming out of their hair, many struggle to meet nice women to date with. This may be because they work in an all-male workplace, or because they are desperately shy. Either way, meeting quality women can be a challenge. So what are your options if you want to find the “Right Women”?
Where Do Women Hang Out?
An excellent way to meet women is to hang around places where women like to spend most of their time. However, exercise extreme caution when taking this approach, as it is very easy to come across as a creepy guy.
For example, single mothers usually congregate at schools and nurseries. If you are a single dad, make small talk when dropping off or taking back your child from school or a nursery. What you shouldn’t do is hang around outside playgrounds and schools without a child in tow. I think you can guess what might happen next.
Walking the Dog
Women love cute dogs, so you have an instant conversation starter if you have a dog too to walk twice a day. You are bound to meet other women out walking their dogs, so it won’t be long before a friendly “hello” turns into a conversation. If you don’t happen to own a dog, borrow one, but make sure it looks cute.
Try Online Dating
Online dating is no longer as stigmatised as it once was, so you won’t be classed as a loser if you sign up for free online dating sites like this. The great thing about online dating is that you instantly have access to hundreds of profiles. You can browse through them at your leisure, using filters to weed out unsuitable candidates.
The downside of internet dating is that women (like men) are not always 100% honest on their dating profile. Use your intuition when contacting people that interest you – if they seem too good to be true, they probably are. For example, if you are middle-aged, bald, and pretty ordinary looking and a really hot Russian woman messages you, unless you are very rich, you should be asking yourself what she wants (clue: it isn’t a loving relationship).

Chatting up women in a bar is a bit like cold calling – 99 out of a 100 times you will be shot down in flames. It takes a lot of confidence to approach women, so take it slowly. If a woman is interested, she will maintain eye contact and throw you flirty smiles. This is your invitation to chat her up, so make the most of it and avoid any cheesy pick-up lines.
Meeting women isn’t rocket science but you do need to put yourself out there. Sadly, most men don’t meet the woman of their dreams in a World of Warcraft game, no matter how hard they look.
