Former snowboard instructor/ hospitality guru turned DJ-Producer, Sheldon Wiley, has released a new fresh track, “When It Rains (I Run)”, under the moniker RAD. Driven by the constant self-motivation needed to produce, RAD was waking up each morning to the burning desire to test his limits.

Working with various artists learning and collaborating, RAD just wants to keep himself busy. Pushing himself to his limits allowed RAD to explore new techniques and equipment to then follow on to experimenting with fusing genre’s and their sub-genres.

Not usually knowing which direction to take when formulating any track, one thing RAD is certain of, is that he wants funky ‘trap’ drops. Whilst sitting down with his girlfriend to inspire the lyrics, “When It Rains (I Run)” was penned in under an hour. If that doesn’t blow your mind, this track was done to completion in a short writing cycles of 3.5 weeks. No surprise from the three times Guinness World Record Holder.

Relocating to New York City from the South West, RAD focussed his career shift to transition from, full-time music producer, to prime time DJ. Working one-on-one with some of NYC’s elite as well as honing in on the decks with the likes of Dubspot & Noise 212 co-founder JP Solis. As well as two time DMC World Champion DJ Precision. With influences ranging from RL Grime, Kanye and the Chainsmokers to, Disclosure, Baauer and Odesza. RAD initiated the tinkering of chords and quickly grew into the eel of a melody ultimately punching out the drums immediately. With already 4k streams clocked up on SoundCloud. RAD’s “When It Rains (I Run)” is going to be providing the vibes around the globe.
