To celebrate the release of NBA 2K15, the most extensive and engaging game in the history of the NBA 2K franchise, a secret London location will play host to the likes of RWD, Meridian Dan’s Bloodline Records, SBTV, GRM Daily, Link Up TV and Rio Ferdinand’s #5Magazine as they compete to win the Court Vs Console NBA 2K15 Playoff on Thursday 9 October.
Following the huge success of last year’s NBA 2K14 Playoff and game launch, at which guests were given the opportunity to not only play the amazing game before it’s official release, but also to take in some live basketball action from a selection of celebrity teams, while enjoying free food and drink and live DJ performances from some the UK’s biggest names. This year’s launch offers a fantastic opportunity to test out the most hotly anticipated NBA game in years and even get the chance win your own copy of the hugely anticipated game, brand new next generation console to play it on and tickets to see Pharrell at the O2 on the 10th October!
With NBA 2K15 due for release internationally on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and all major consoles the next day, registration is now to get tickets to the exclusive event to be held at a London location Thursday 9 October.
The NBA 2K15 Playoff will be a star studded 3 v 3 on-court basketball competition, with some of the biggest names in music, media and sport set to take part. Confirmed competitors on the day who will put their basketball and gaming skills to the test include Grime superstar and Meridian Dan with his Bloodline Records team, team SBTV, the Link Up TV team featuring Sneakbo, Rio Ferdinand’s #5 Magazine team and the reigning champions who took it all in 2014, GRM Daily.
Entertainment on the night will be provided by Capital Xtra’s DJ Woody and 1xtra’s DJ Cameo, who will be providing commentary on the sure to be hugely competitive celebrity playoff games as well as a host of performers, dancers and basketball freestylers.
