Beyoncé and Jay-Z announce UK tour dates

Concerts and Tours don’t get much bigger than this. JAY-Z and BEYONCÉ OTR II Tour is coming to the UK and tickets are on sale from March 23rd, 2018.

The most powerful couple in music is crossing the pond for four shows this June!

The rumours are true! Beyoncé and Jay-Z are launching an On the Run 2 tour this summer, with four dates lined up across the UK throughout June.

Kicking off Wednesday, June 6th in Cardiff, UK, the international outing will stop in 15 cities across the UK and Europe and 21 cities in North America. The tour is presented by Live Nation Global Touring in association with Parkwood Entertainment and Roc Nation.

Citi is the official credit card for the OTR II stadium tour and as such, Citi cardmembers can take advantage of a special pre-sale opportunity for show dates in the United States, Europe and the UK. For performances going on sale on Monday, March 19th in the US and Europe, Citi cardmembers may purchase tickets beginning Wednesday, March 14th at noon through Saturday, March 17th at 5pm (Citi pre-sale in Paris ends Friday, March 16th at 6pm). Jay-Z remains one of the best-selling musicians of all time, having sold more than 50 million albums and 75 million singles worldwide, while receiving 21 Grammy Awards for his music. In 2009, he was ranked the tenth-most successful artist of the 2000s by Billboard as well as the fifth top solo male artist and fourth top rapper behind Eminem, Nelly, and 50 Cent. Beyoncé began her career as the lead singer of RnB group Destiny’s Child but has been performing as a solo artist since 2003.

In this capacity, she has sold an estimated 100 million records, making her one of the best-selling music artists in history. She has won 22 Grammy Awards and is the most nominated woman in the award’s history.

In 2009, Billboard named her the Top Radio Songs Artist of the Decade, the Top Female Artist of the 2000s and awarded her their Millennium Award in 2011. In 2014, she became the highest-paid black musician in history and was listed among Time‘s 100 most influential people in the world for a second year in a row.

The couple have been married since 2008 and have three children together. Their first collaboration was in in 2002 on ’03 Bonnie & Clyde. Since then, other notable collaborations include Beyoncé’s 2003 No.1 hit Crazy in Love, 2013’s Part II (On the Run) and Drunk in Love from Beyoncé’s self-titled fifth release which unexpectedly dropped in December 2013.

Their most recent albums, Lemonade and 4:44 respectively, were both critically acclaimed for their personal and emotional content.
