Effortlessly stunning. The singer/songwriter is far more than just a pretty face. Some girls are born with it. Tanika walks on set looking more like a supermodel than a music artist. Standing at about 6ft tall in heels and a body most women would die for, Tanika greets us all and gets straight to work. First up comes hair and makeup, then the styling, then before you know it, C.E.O of Flavourmag LeonardWFoster has a cheeky smile on his face. He says “Wow, I really didn’t realise you was as beautiful as you are”. We continue with the photo shoot, every outfit fits with no problems. The results are below.
How did you get into music?
I first got into music before I could talk I was singing, I walked down to a studio when I was 9 years old and told them I wanted to be a superstar, I recorded my first song “crazy” at 9yrs old.
Explain the musical journey for you and was it always music?
Musical journey has been a very very long one, an yes mainly because I’ve only ever wanted to do music. It’s a risk I’ve sacrificed my life for this.
How personal is your music in terms of divulging things that have happened in your life?
All my music is personal, everything I write is apart of something real.
Has the music landscape in the UK changed from say five years ago and indeed how do you see Tanika fitting into that landscape-maybe it’s not about fitting in!?
The UK scene has changed, it’s always changing. In regards to fitting in.. That’s not what I’m trying or here to do, if you try to fit in everywhere u go you’re in problems!
What’s the plans for 2014?
My plan for 2014 is to really penetrate through people, to write great music and get the UK to really understand the grind I put into my art, but mostly for me this year I just really wanna make an impact! Give me something fresh, new.. As cool as f****! Lol

I’m a cancer, born on 7/7 month. I am a typical cancer ha!

Best valentine was last year my ex brought me some beautiful diamonds.

Cuddle over a massage.

Yes is go on a date with a fan.
Name one thing a girl should never do on a 1st date?
On the first date… Never give the goodies !
Do you have a girl code?
Girl code…lipgloss and high heels. A standard.
Biggest misconception about the opposite sex
Misconception.. I’m not sure… Perception is the reality !
