The store owner, Samson Soboye, a gradate Central Saint Martin’s went on to become a huge success in the industry. Building his contacts from working as an assistant at British Vogue Samson built up strong connections and launched himself as a stylist. Samson has worked editorially for many publications including The Independent, The Guardian and The Saturday Times.
In 1998 SOBOYE boutique opened in Shoreditch, showcasing a lot of Samson’s own collection of fashion accessories and interior design products. The boutique also contains the collections of up and coming designers. SOBOYE featured Aase Hopstocks spring/summer 2012 shoe collection; her designs were picked out and featured in Vogue magazine.
