Last night the Brit awards paid tribute to two of the worlds greatest songstress’s that have sadly passed away – the late Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse.

The night also saw Adele take home two Brit awards for Best Female and Album of the Year for her record-breaking album 21, after taking home six prestige Grammys last week it’s clear Adele is a force to be reckoned with. The proud winner wanted to thank her fans last night but was interrupted mid speech so she saluted ITV with a middle finger! Adele later on said ‘That finger was to the suits… They cut me off.’  To right, after-all shes been flying the flag so high for us Brits, let the girl speak dang-nam-it. For what its worth, Adele we’re proud of you!

Ed Sheeran collected two well deserved awards, for Best Male and Best Breakthrough and he thanked his manager for taking him from a chubby, ginger teenager to the star he is today.

Former X-Factor boy band won their first Brit award for their ‘What Makes You Beautiful’

The night also saw performances by Rihanna who won Best International Female and Bruno Mars who won Best International Male.
