Throwing a block party like no other! The Merkage Band, Flirta D, Skepta, P Money and many more was at The Converse Block Party performing it was absolutely epic. These guys were truly getting it in especially since it was the 1oth year anniversary of Grime. D Double E, Mica Righteous, Clement Marfo and the Frontline was also just up the block with the audience buzzing and lively. The ladies were also representing with their fierce female emc’ing. Mz Bratt was vibrant as ever holding it down for the fem-cees. Lady Leshurr was explosive on the mic with a cover of ‘The Motto’ and performances off her EP ‘2000 and L’.
The live MC Clash battles was very heated with Skolz, Bugzy Malone and Row D who were all competing against each other. The ultimate prize was to win a chance to record a track with the music label, No Hats No Hoods so so a lot was at stake during this MC competition. The crowd went wild with each MC destroying the mic but Row D was like an atomic bomb and won.
As a whole the event was epic 5/5!
