A few days ago Tulisa helped launch NCS (National Citizen Service), a youth focused initiative that gives teenagers the chance to sign-up for a once-in-a-life time opportunity to build skills for work and life and to help improve chances of getting a job.  To celebrate the launch event at Kokos, London, Tulisa and Made in Chelsea’s Frances Boulle were joined by hundreds of teenagers eager to say ‘YES’ to the programme.

The programme is aimed at 16 and 17 year olds and takes place over three weeks, plus 30 hours of social action, during the school holidays. It includes an action-packed residential time away from home where participants are able to bond with teammates over activities such as hiking, canoeing and climbing.

With youth unemployment figures on the rise over recent years, programmes like the NCS are trying to help youths get into work and build more skills on their CV. Take a look at the video to see how it all works.
