UK rapper J Spades drops the official music video for ‘Slick Rick’  featuring Tinie Tempah and Professor Green. ‘Slick Rick’ is a homage to the legendary UK/US rapper of the same name, and released 27 April.

The Hackney-based rapper has supported N-Dubz rapper Dappy on tour, and has collaborated with US artist Waka Flocka on ‘3000’, which appeared on his MMMP 2 mixtape. He performed at Wireless with Naughty Boy in 2013 and has opened shows for US rappers French Montana and 2 Chainz. In November. In late 2014 J Spades featured on Naughty Boy track ‘Do It Big’, which was added to BBC Radio 1 Xtra’s B List.

J Spades (real name Marvin Sterling) moved to Jamaica as a child, where he found the setting much more laid-back than London. He went to school in Kingston until returning to the UK at the age of 15 and finding home in the busy borough of Hackney, East London.
