“Open Heavens” is the latest offering from Urban Gospel group Nu Star II (the 2009 gospel award nominees). Featuring grime artist Sneakbo (“Ring A Ling”) and mixes from old school garage legend Sunship, the single has already spent 8 weeks in Music Week Urban Club chart peaking at #11.
Before a 5 year break Nu Starr II (aka Nu Starr) was an emerging urban inspirational group with success on Channel U (now AKA) with their Tsunami Dedicated single “Keep Holding On”. The single peaked at no.5 and earned various Gospel Nominations including UK GEM awards.
Nu Starr are back again but this time as Nu Star II and featuring the soulful tones of Daniella Belle and Katherine Adams. Through their powerful and soulful vocals they are taking positive inspiration to a wider audience with a classy urban dance edge courtesy of producer Benji Whytepatch.
