This year, The Blues Kitchen is celebrating its 15th birthday, a milestone marking its long-standing reputation for Southern-style cocktails, live music, barbecue delights, and an unparalleled selection of bourbon and whiskey.

As one of the capital’s iconic destinations, The Blues Kitchen invites all to join in the festivities.

On Friday, July 19th, The Blues Kitchen will host a special birthday party, honouring the music that has defined its vibrant atmosphere over the past 15 years. The celebration will feature performances by the venue’s renowned house bands, including The Beekays, the original house band from Camden, and She’s Got Brass, an all-female brass band that joined earlier this year.

Notable performers at The Blues Kitchen have included The Libertines, Seasick Steve, The Mystery Jets, Gary Clark Jr., and an array of local talent like Errol Linton, Acantha Lang, Baby Shambles, and Remi Banton. The venue even holds the record for the world’s longest blues jam, lasting 100 hours.

Guests can look forward to an electrifying night with sets spanning classic 60s and 70s soul, rock ‘n’ roll, and blues, as well as modern R&B, neo-soul, funk, and hip-hop. The BK Street Band – The Brassholes will also make appearances throughout the venue, adding their brass magic to the festivities. Following the live performances, DJs will spin a timeless selection of rhythm and blues, ensuring the party continues into the early hours. Attendees can expect surprises such as confetti drops, free shots, giveaways, and more.

In anticipation of the 15th birthday party, The Blues Kitchen will run a series of competitions on their Instagram (@theblueskitchen), offering the chance to win prizes, including 10 tickets and a £1k bar tab for the celebration.
