We’ve done it again, and managed to pull a hottie away from her training for a quickkie (60 second interview). This time we have the uber stunner Roxy Winstanley and she is so much more than just a looker.

Whats your measurements?

What’s your key to looking good?
Lots and lots of water! I always carry a bottle of water with me and drink 4/5 litres of water a day. Lots of sleep too, I always try and get 8 hours sleep when I can.

Give us your top training tip?
Always train on Monday – it always gives me the motivation to have a good week – diet wise and training wise.

Do you ever feel under pressure in a gym full of men?
When I first started lifting weights it was a bit daunting entering the weights area of the gym. Big men grunting and throwing big weights around, will always be a little scary the first time you enter the weights area. However now it doesn’t bother me at all. I train with the men in the gym, I’ll kick them off machines if I need it when they are just talking and it also helps that I can lift just as heavy, or more compared to most of them now.

What are your training goals for 2015?
Training goals for this year is to ultimately get my body competition ready again. I am not competing for at least 7 months as I am wanting to improve areas. I am mainly focusing on the glutes and hamstrings – bikini girls are judges heavily on their behinds – so I am trying to add as much size and definition as I can.

On health we asked…

What’s does your diet consist of?
My diet is very varied, people assume I live on meat and veg every day – but the truth is very different. Obviously I do eat a lot of protein sources – such as chicken, turkey, steak etc and lots and lots of green veg but I also try and add lots of different foods in so I don’t get bored. Ill eat complex carbs – oats, sweet potato, rice etc snd good fats such as nuts, avocado, coconut oil. I love baking so I am always making flapjacks, cakes and pancakes with healthy ingredients and added protein powder.
However, ask anyone – I always allow myself cheat meals, twice a week normally. So these will consist of pizza, Nutella, sweets, cakes; whatever I am craving that day. Ill always train glutes on that day – more food on glutes day = a bigger ass!!

Is it expensive to keep up a healthy diet?
No, its not at all. People assume its expensive but If you shop and cook smartly then its very affordable. I buy all my meat in bulk, and freeze it. You can buy fresh and frozen veg at reasonable prices in all supermarkets as well. Buying veg that’s in season, will help to reduce the cost. Stri frys etc, are perfect easy healthy meals that don’t have to cost the earth!

If I can’t cook, what’s tips can you give to prepare a simply yet healthy meal?
Im not the best cook in the world, but cooking a meal doesn’t have to be hard or difficult. One of my favourite meals – as boring as it sounds- is chicken, veg and sweet potato. You can choose easy simple meals and then make them more exciting with different flavourings!

On men and women we asked…

Do you get a lot of attention with a body like yours.
I get some attention, but not loads. Lots of women have very different bodies and men and women alike, all have personal preferences. My ex-boyfriend didn’t like me getting lean, having muscles – and are relationship ended as a result of this. My new boyfriend – likes that I lift weights and likes that I can get abs and muscles. However he also likes me in my ‘off season’ look – softer, curvier and no visible abs or veins.

Is the attention mostly from men or women?
I think women mainly. I get a lot of compliments and messages on social media from women complimenting me on my body. In all honestly, attention from women on my body means a lot more than from men. Women are bitchy – and some girls can make negative comments towards me and other girls in the fitness industry, so it is nice to feel that some women can appreciate other women’s bodies.

On fashion we asked…

If you wanted to buy a sexy dress, where would be your first choice fashion store to shop?
I’m a high street kinds girl – so for me its always Topshop or ASOS.

What’s your favourite lingerie brand?
Victoria’s Secret – lingerie is my favourite thing in the world (aside from nike sneaks) but it is where most of my wages go. I can’t even begin to count how many sets of underwear I have from Victoria’s Secret.

What’s your favourite make up brand?
With my job, and being in the gym a lot – I hardly wear make up. But if I am going out on a night out then it has to be MAC cosmetics.

Short skirt or leggings?
Leggings!!! You cant see the bum in a skirt… haha

High heels or comfy flats?
Neither – I live in Nikes. In the gym, out the gym – I am always in sneaks. And being 5ft10 – I can tower above everyone when I wear heels.
