When asked what the inspiration was behind the consultancy Paul Cartwright says: ‘I feel I have always been a private consultant and my male friends have asked me for advice on women throughout my life, whether it be advice on their relationships, tips on style, where to go on a date or help them decode signals. I wanted to help all men who have trouble with women, so I suggested my idea of the Black Book Consultancy to friends and family and the response was extremely positive.’ The rest is history.
It’s fun to flirt
Whatever your strength or weakness the coaching is tailored to each client’s unique needs when it comes to women. Paul explains: ‘Men put too much pressure on themselves when it comes to approaching women. The fear of being rejected kicks in and this manifests into negative thoughts. ‘Lack of confidence is the main issue most men have. If a guy is relaxed and confident this will make him more desirable to women. I strongly believe that there are other factors that may affect a relationship or interactions with women. If a man is unhappy in other areas in his life, for example his job, this can have a knock on effect on a person’s whole persona.’

Paul Cartwright says: ‘Men can be totally oblivious to indicators that women give them. I tell clients to watch out for the green light signals including tactful-touching, lingering eye contact and questions such as have you got a girlfriend?’
