Bodean’s, Bang Bang Burger, and Gurts Wings lead a one-day celebration of slow-smoked brisket, craft beer, and Americana at Riverside East.
East London is about to smell absolutely glorious. On Saturday 4 July 2026, London’s Country BBQ Festival takes over Riverside East in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, bringing together some of the UK’s most respected pitmasters, burger slingers, and smokehouse operators for a full day of char, spice, and Southern hospitality.
From 2pm to 10pm, the festival will serve up slow-smoked brisket, sticky ribs, award-winning burgers, and wings from a heavyweight line-up that includes Bodean’s, Bang Bang Burger, Gurts Wings, Smoking Dreams BBQ, and Texas BBQ. It’s a rare chance to sample multiple leading traders in one sun-soaked (fingers crossed) location, with craft beer and live country music threading through the whole affair.
More Than Just Meat
Beyond the food, expect a carefully curated drinks offering and Americana-inspired entertainment that channels the spirit of a lazy Southern summer gathering. There’s live country music all day, plus crowd-pleasers like a bucking bronco to keep the energy high. The timing couldn’t be more fitting: the event lands on Independence Day weekend, making it one of London’s standout celebrations of American food and culture this summer.
BBQ’s Big Moment
With BBQ cementing itself as one of the UK’s most popular food trends, this festival brings together the scene’s biggest names under one banner. It’s low-and-slow cooking at its finest, from the char on the meat to the unhurried festival vibe. Whether you’re a brisket purist or a wings devotee, there’s something worth queuing for.
