Blue Lab Beats, Daniel Casimir Big Band and Guvna B headline a free all-day celebration on Frith Street this August.
Ronnie Scott’s is about to do what it does best—only this time, it’s ditching the club’s famous basement for the open streets of Soho. On Saturday August 1st 2026, Frith Street transforms into a full-blown, free-to-attend music celebration that brings together some of the UK’s most exciting jazz, soul, R&B and hip hop talent, all in the name of grassroots venues that make it happen in the first place.
Running from 11.30am to 4.30pm, the street party is free, open to all and expects between 1,000 and 2,000 people to turn up for an afternoon of live sets, DJ slots, outdoor bars and family-friendly vibes. No tickets, no hassle—just show up.
The Line-Up
The headliners span two outdoor stages and cover serious ground. GRAMMY Award-winning duo Blue Lab Beats—who’ve clocked more than 84 million global streams—headline the South Stage, joined by Summer Pearl, NEONE the Wonderer, GRAMN., Jackson Mathod and DJ Jon Jules. Over on the North Stage, Daniel Casimir Big Band lead the charge. The award-winning bassist is one of the most influential figures in Britain’s contemporary jazz scene, and he’ll be backed by R&B singer Shae Universe, triple MOBO Award winner Guvna B, Ronnie Scott’s Gospel Choir, Marlon the Pannist and DJ Mike Vitti.
Why It Matters
This isn’t just a street party for the sake of it. Ronnie Scott’s is partnering with Music Venue Trust and Save Our Scene to shine a light on the independent venues where these artists cut their teeth. Representatives from Music Venue Trust will be on site all day, highlighting the challenges grassroots venues face and the irreplaceable role they play in London’s cultural ecosystem.
Fred Nash, Managing Director of Ronnie Scott’s, put it plainly: “Every artist starts somewhere. Before the festivals, the awards and the headline tours, there are independent venues where musicians can experiment, find their voice and connect with audiences for the first time. Those spaces are absolutely essential to the health of British music.”
First launched in 2019 to mark the club’s 60th anniversary, the street party continues Ronnie Scott’s tradition of championing emerging talent alongside the legends. This year, it’s taking that mission into the heart of Soho and making world-class live music freely accessible to anyone who walks by.
