Guy Ritchie’s criminal underworld is getting bigger, sharper, and a whole lot riskier. Netflix has dropped the full-length trailer for The Gentlemen Season 2, arriving September 3rd, and crucially—the streamer has officially confirmed the series will return for a third season, with Ritchie once again behind the camera.
The trailer (watch it above) sees Theo James and Kaya Scodelario back in the thick of it, joined by Ray Winstone, Joely Richardson, Vinnie Jones, and Giancarlo Esposito across eight episodes that stretch from the stately piles of England to the glittering shores of Italy. It’s been one year since Eddie and Susie joined forces in Bobby’s sprawling criminal enterprise, but Bobby’s decisions are starting to look increasingly questionable. Now the pair face a high-stakes choice: take action, or lose everything. As Ritchie himself puts it, “The ambition of The Gentlemen has accelerated, the world has expanded and the consequences carry weight.”
What Happens in Season 2?
Picking up a year after the first season’s explosive finale, Eddie and Susie are driving expansion across Bobby’s empire, but cracks are showing. The stakes are higher, ambition is unfiltered, and—as the show’s tagline warns—unfettered ambition never ends well. The returning ensemble includes Daniel Ings, Jasmine Blackborow, Michael Vu, Harry Goodwins, Ruby Sear, and Pearce Quigley.
Joining them this time around are Hugh Bonneville, Benjamin Clementine, Benedetta Porcaroli, Michele Morrone, Sergio Castellitto, Amra Mallassi, Tyler Conti, British boxing star Chris Eubank Jr, and TV host Maya Jama. Ritchie directs alongside Eran Creevy and Nick Rowland, working from scripts by Ritchie, Matthew Read, Danielle Ward, John Jackson, and Iain Weatherby.
