Following last month’s teaser clip,’What I Want’, written by Ameriie and produced by husband Mr. Nicholson, the colourful and psychedelic visuals provide the backdrop to Ameriie’s stunning and distinctive vocals which can be heard against an energetic, retro drum beat – sampling Sugar Hill Gang’s iconic ‘Apache (Jump On It)’.
2005 saw the release of the international smash hit ‘1 Thing’ – taken from Ameriie’s double Grammy nominated album ‘Touch’ – which peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was a top 5 hit in the UK becoming one of the year’s best-selling singles.
