The song Analyser by the hot new duo Aluna George banged through my laptop speakers as I sat down and gave them a taste of their own medicine and analysed them. Their sound was unique and to be honest is not normally my cup of tea, however the lyrics were extremely effective and the repetition was thought provoking and underlined the emotion of the song. I could definitely see this being a hit within the club scene the sort of music that you’d zone out to on that Friday night that you wish lasted forever. With their effortless voices, they are able to lace the track with a sentiment that cannot be described, only felt. This is not a song for everyone but you will find yourself singing along to it at some point this year. Guaranteed.
