This year some of our favourite groups from the past are reuniting! Are you excited yet? Remember ’90s rap duo Kriss Kross? The baggy jeans wearing teens that made you wanna ‘Jump’, with their iconic song and had everyone singing their name. They will be reuniting for So So Def’s 20th Anniversary concert in Atlanta, in February.

The UK’s favourite crew So Solid have also announced their reunion. The Garage group, best known for their hit ’21 Seconds’, will be reuniting with original members Romeo, MC Harvey, Lisa Maffia, Oxide & Neutrino, Megaman and Asher D. Away from the group members of So Solid have stayed in the public eye. Both Romeo and MC Harvey appeared on Celebrity Big Brother, Lisa Maffia, Romeo and MC Harvey were on Channel 4’s The Games and Asher D has starred in number of films, including Get Rich or Die Tryin’ starring 50 Cent. So Solid Crew will be performing at London’s Indigo2 in March.

Boy band Blue have already had a taste of being back together, they started recording together again in 2011, their single came out in October last year and their album to follow this year. The group who had three number one albums and three number one singles including song ‘One Love’ during 2001-2005, managed to get the ladies hearts racing, but I wonder if they can do the same second time around?

These aren’t the only groups getting back together this year, a series of groups will also be reuniting for ITV2’s The Big Reunion. Pop acts B*witched, Liberty X and Atomic Kitten will all be featured. Atomic Kitten will even reunite with the original members, including Kerry Katona! Looks like this is going to get interesting and it’s nice to see all our old favourites reminding us of the good old days. Bring it on!
