BloTV are about to launch their first screened night at Boxpark in East London and your all invited.

Screened nights has been put together to highlight the work of Independent Directors in both film and music providing a great platform for emerging talent to show off their work.
Screened Nights will run once a month from May – August kickstarting on Wednesday May 13th from 7pm on the upper deck at Boxpark in Shoreditch. The opening of Screened Nights will be ‘The Propercorn Edition’ with complimentary bags of healthy Propercorn handed out to all in attendance while they enjoy the screening. 6 Directors will be screening their short films which range from relations, comedy, self-fulfilment and money.

About BloTV: 
BloTV is a social medium which focuses on providing a platform in media creativity covering music, film and art. Having launched in 2014, BloTV have engaged with their audience through their YouTube channel where they have over 10,000 views and interviews artists from around the world, including Atlantic Records artist Kwabs, 1Xtra DJ, Melody Kane, Nigerian artist Ajebutter 22 + more. Screened Nights will be BloTVs first concept which looks at providing a platform for directors to showcase music videos, short films and documentaries.

About the Directors:
Femi Oyeniran
Femi Oyeniran is a London-based actor who has starred in hit films including Kidulthood, Adulthood, Annuvahood and 4321. Femi has recently written, co-directed, co-produced his first feature film ‘It’s A Lot’. In his experience as an actor, Femi decided there was a lack of projects portraying a rounded view of the Black British Experience. He produced a semi-autobiographical short film called Fresh off the Boat, which was nominated as part of the 2009 Film London ‘ Best of Borough’ awards.
 
Spacey Blak
Spacey Blak is a producer/sonwriter who discovered another outlet for creativity…filming. He’s previously produced a shortfilm by Cornelius Walker called ‘Nobody Else’ which is soon to be released and directed, music promos for Debbie Aramide and Ben Ridley and produced his first short film titled ‘Something Hit Me’.
 
Jamie Delaney
Born in Ireland, Jamie Delaney graduated from London College of Communication with a Masters in Graphic Design in 2006. Since then he has worked internationally across all creative disciplines as a creative director and filmmaker. In 2010, he decided to pursue his passion for directing moving image full-time and is currently working on a number of short films, documentaries and music videos. Jamie has directed and worked with Sony, i-D and directed a video for Rejjie Snow who is signed to Elton john’s record label.
Victor Abebodun
Victor Adebodun’s media career started at post-production house MPC, which provided him with a basis to direct and produce music promos, documentaries, films and television. At MPC, Victor worked within the technology department of the VFX department, working on films such as Harry Potter and the James Bond franchise. Seeing how these films were made from the ground up inspired Victor to want to create his own content.
Fraction Films
Fraction are a directing duo that formed in early 2014, consisting of Charlie Sarsfield and Jordan Bond. Potluck was their debut film and since then have gone on to direct a number of music videos and documentary’s, as well as planning their next short films.
Cornelius Walker
During the span of his career, Cornelius Walker has worked for the likes of ITV and Universal Music Group. Over the last quarter of his career, attaining experience as a director and screenwriter is of great importance to him. He recently released a short film, 10 Stops Away’ which wrote and directed and was released by SBTV Global. Cornelius will be screening his 2nd Short Film at BloTV Screened Nights this May.
Screened Nights start on Wednesday the 13th of May from 7-9pm
