To celebrate the release of Mercury Plains on DVD from Monday the 2nd of May we decided to take a look at the films main man Scott Eastwood and exactly why we have chosen him our Bod of the Week.

Scott Eastwood is being dubbed as Hollywood’s next action hero, carrying on in his famous father’s – Clint Eastwood for those who don’t know – footsteps and keeping the torch burning for the Eastwood Dynasty.

Scott has quite a catalogue of films under his belt including Flags of our Fathers, Gran Torino – in which he was credited as Scott Reeves – Invictus, Texas Chainsaw 3D, Fury and The Longest Ride. We can also see Scott star alongside the likes of Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Cara Delevigne, and Ben Affleck in the highly anticipated Suicide Squad later this year.

If you can’t wait until August to cast your eyes on this fine specimen of a man take a glimpse at our Gallery of photos of this man – all taken from his latest film Mercury Plains. We think you will agree there is no better way to celebrate the Bank Holiday than drooling over the extremely sexy physic of this man getting all physical and sweaty.

Mitch (Scott EastwoodSuicide Squad, Fury) is a troubled young man who leaves his dead-end life behind when he hightails it to Mexico. There, he’s recruited by a mysterious figure to join a group of paramilitary teenagers who take the fight against the drug cartels directly to the source. At their desert camp, Mitch finds himself being groomed to be the team’s top operative at the same time as their campaign against the drug lords ramps up a gear. As the raids become bloodier and the Mexican police are closing in, Mitch realizes that his only way out is to escape back to the USA.

With Eastwood effortlessly channelling his father Clint’s early charisma and being just as easy on the eye, MERCURY PLAINS plays out as a smart companion piece to this year’s Sicario, albeit with a hugely attractive, much younger cast. The perfect Friday night fodder that captures Eastwood’s star in the ascendant, MERCURY PLAINS is essential.
