Today BET unveiled rapper Bow Wow along with Paigion, Shorty Da Prince and Miss Mykie as the new hosts of 106 and Park.
Bow Weezy has been dubbed the self-proclaimed “Mr. 106 And Park” since the shows launch. He holds the record for most guest appearances in the shows 12-year history. “I’m very excited to take on this new journey in my career,” says the Young Money rapper.
“I’m all about branding myself not just in music — but on TV and in movies. Everyone always wanted to compare me to the Fresh Prince, well now they can call me The Fresh Prince of 106 & Park. Get ready for a whole new world”. He also added.
Contestants went through online video submissions to on-air screen tests, but Ms. Mykie, Paigion and Shorty all beat thousands of hopefuls to land the prestigious job alongside “Mr. 106 And Park”
