This August, CAU, the restaurant group offering contemporary cuisine inspired by the vibrancy, colour and cultural diversity of Buenos Aires, launches #CAUnival at each of its 12 UK sites, in association with children’s charity Action Against Hunger.
#CAUnival is inspired by the South American festival Dia del Amigo which is a public holiday across Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay and celebrates friendship, kindness and sharing – values that CAU and Action Against Hunger both share. The campaign itself will feature a range of events and promotions, a set #CAUnival menu to run alongside the a la carte and a feasting table menu which customers can hire for up to 16 friends and family. £1 from every meal ordered from the #CAUnival set menu will go to Action Against Hunger.
We visited CAU to sample to menu and it was pretty impressive (vegetarians look away now) featuring BBQ Suckling Pig, Twice Cooked Lamb of Leg and Asado Grilled Rump along with drinks and starters and desert.
