Body confidence is an ever-growing discussion in the UK fashion and beauty industry, with women now being encouraged to accept every body type, from size 4’s all the way up to the size 24’s.
centre:mk, Milton Keynes’ largest shopping centre, is this weekend celebrating body positivity and in particular, The Beauty of Power, with their second Style Fest event, hosted by 4Music and BBBOTS presenter, AJ Odudu.
First launched in March, the event takes place across both Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th September in the centre’s Middleton Hall, and will see speakers, influencers and demonstrations from across the fashion industry give their take on body positivity, and how this can be encouraged in your own lives.
Included in the weekend will be a panel talk, hosted by the British Fashion Council, demonstrations from MAC and Charlotte Tilbury, as well as sessions from House of Colour, to determine your colour palette. In addition, fashion shows will be taking place throughout the weekend, showcasing the centre’s brand’s AW18 collections.
