Christina Aguilera is rocking the front cover of the latest edition of Papermag but these photo’s of Christina are like, you’ve never seen her before.

Named the ‘Transformation’, Christina goes O’naturelle for her latest photoshoot and interview with Papermag.

Yes, we all remember (and will probably never forget) her butt cheeks in her most famous video ‘Dirrty’ and when she was a ‘Genie in a Bottle’… but this new photoshoot reveals a side to Christina that we haven’t really seen before.

The question is, can you really call these minimal photos a ‘Transformation’? Speaking with Papermag, Christina says,

“I’ve always been someone that obviously loves to experiment, loves theatrics, loves to create a storyline and play a character in a video or through stage,” she explains while her makeup artist removes glitter from her eyelids. “I’m a performer, that’s who I am by nature. But I’m at the place, even musically, where it’s a liberating feeling to be able to strip it all back and appreciate who you are and your raw beauty.”

The images were captured by photographer Zoey Grossman, and more importantly than any of the photo’s above in her feature with Marie Lodi where Christina reflects on many things from her past which everyone should read…

“I watched my mom have to be submissive, watch her Ps and Qs or she’s gonna get beat up… You can either be, unfortunately, so damaged by it that you take a turn for the worse, or you can feel empowered by it and make choices to never go down that route.”

The feature is out now, so head on over to Papermag.com to see it, in its fullness.
