One of them eats tissue, whilst the other eats dust, but we will leave you to figure out who eats what. They are Lynnike and Sefa two bubbly, talented and above all crazy radio presenters bringing a brand new, youthful and oh so feminine exuberance to the airwaves.
Lynnike says: ‘We pride ourselves on our ability to stay at the forefront of hot new music, as well as our strong and addictive personalities, we know our talent lies in entertaining the masses.’
First meeting at university at the tender age of 18 whilst both studying for degrees in Media Arts & Radio Broadcasting, the strong connection between the duo was instant and they’ve been super-glued together ever since. ‘We soon recognised the passion we both shared for radio,’ states Sefa. ‘Starting out as a University project, we had to produce and present a weekly radio show together, and broadcast live on the FM band across London. It wasn’t until audience listening figures started to soar and the show was awarded Best Specialist Radio Show at the Student Radio Awards that we realised just how successful we could really become. Shortly after we hatched our cunning plan to take over the world.’
Early last year they were asked to record a pilot for Channel 4’s new E4 Radio project, which unfortunately never launched and at that point they decided to turn their hand to DJ-ing and can now be found mixing and blending in the hottest clubs in and around the Capital.
And now you can catch them on London’s award winning station, BANG Radio, where they will drive you crazy on the drive time show every Tuesday and Thursday, between 4 and 7pm. ‘We’re determined to make our dreams become a reality and are working extremely hard to achieve the success we know we deserve,’ states Lynnike.
