‘Music To Make Boys Cry’ starts downbeat but soon morphs into a very modern empowerment anthem. Its desire to make you both cry and dance simultaneously is no accident.
Vickers’ explains “Music To Make Boys Cry” actually came about because she was on an airplane and saw the phrase ‘music to make boys cry’ in a newspaper article and got really excited and wanted to make a song that had that in it. ‘Music To Make Boys Cry’ will be released September 15th and is the second single from the upcoming album of the same name, which will be released on the same day through So Recordings. Diana will be back playing live shows in the run up to the album release – dates to be announced.
