The self-produced ‘In The Mix’ is the newest single by Lompy T that is flowing with electro charm. Russell Crawley took the plunge into releasing music when he started getting positive feedback from the tracks he was putting out.
The journey began for the artist when he was just 17 years old, but he had little success starting up as an artist as equipment was too expensive and too hard to come by. Now 35, he has re-embarked on his journey and aims to kick-start his music career now that music production software and social media is so readily available to him.
Although Lompy T prides himself on his old school music he also takes inspiration from current producers like Calvin Harris, Marshmello and Aviici. Conversely, though he is also influenced by classical music, particularly pianos and strings, which he tries to work into his music.
