Diverse Gypsy-Swing Band ‘The Don Fox Scandal’ Returns with a Compelling Video Release ‘Biscuit’

The Don Fox Scandal

Self-styled gypsy-swing-ska band ‘The Don Fox Scandal’ describes their recently released festival-felicitious sound as their “most dance-catalytic, jumping, alive atmosphere they’ve recorded yet.”

Their latest release ‘Biscuit’ features witty lyrics and a unique fusion of genres.

The band explains that the mishmash of influences range from Electric Swing Circus to the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Each band member has their own style, which makes for a good mix when jamming ideas out and expanding on them. Together they fuse together to create a well-executed amalgamation of ska, gypsy-swing and funk. The soulful edge to the lead singer’s vocals also provides a subtle nod to the soul genre

Just like their logo of the dapper, rakish ‘Don Fox’ the gents adorn themselves in quirky, panache attire. The electric vibes of their performance are guaranteed to get the audience moving in that old-time, dance-hungry manner.

The latest three videos recently released were recorded in a single day at Fieldgate Studio in Cardiff, which attest to the tightness of the band, capturing their energetic live sound, they explained, “For it to sound energetic and off the cuff we performed it in a live style. We weren’t interested in getting things perfect, it was about getting it in the moment.”

Soon to be released on all major media outlets. More info about the group and any upcoming live dates can be found on their social pages FacebookTwitter.
