Drox, aka An(dr)ew F(ox)ton, a rapper/DJ from the world-famous nightclub scene in Newcastle, collaborates with the most successful Nigerian female Rapper, Eva Alordiah on ‘Mercy’ which has already charged in to Music Weeks urban chart Top 10 .
The combination of a man who has never been known to wear a shirt until the temperature drops below zero, and then only with a severe windchill factor,with Lagos-based Eva who has a string of awards to her name is definitely an interesting one. Drox has scored – as in-house producer at up and coming label Helicopta – 4 consecutive Urban top tens (Inc “Mercy”) throughout 2013 whilst Lagos-based Rapper/Model Eva Alordiah, known for her biting and very personal lyrics, has headlined several successful tours in Nigeria thanks to her unique ability to both rap and sing with an incredible soulful voice.
