Inspired by the afro-house sound, ‘Becoming’ is the latest single to come from Tulum based DJ and Producer Dulce Rullán.
Beginning the production process in 2018, Dulce Rullán based the track around a sample, bringing in afro-chant vocals and ambient elements. Dulce Rullán pinpoints ‘Becoming’ as a pivotal moment in her development as a DJ, giving its title symbolic importance.
Deeply influenced by afrolatin, soul and tech-house sounds, Dulce Rullán calls her signature sound Sabroso-tech. A renowned DJ, she has played in Ibiza, The Rainbow Room (NYC) and The Wynn Hotel (Las Vegas), as well as the international electronic music festivals, ‘Mi Casa Holiday’. A composer, Dj and producer, Dulce Rullán has been honing her skills as a versatile artist and performer. Also a composer of instrumental tracks, Dulce Rullán integrates her piano playing, drumming and singing into her compositions and performance.
