Death isn’t done with us yet. Final Destination: Bloodlines is set to unleash its signature brand of inventive terror when it lands in cinemas on 16th May 2025, marking a chilling new chapter in New Line Cinema’s long-running horror saga.

But this time, it’s personal.

A Return to Where It All Began

The sixth instalment in the blood-soaked franchise takes audiences back to the very origins of Death’s twisted sense of justice, promising to unravel the grim mythology that has loomed over the series for over two decades.

Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefanie (Kaitlyn Santa Juana) returns home in a desperate bid to track down the one person who might help her break the cycle—before she and her family fall victim to the gruesome fate that has haunted their bloodline for generations.

Joining Santa Juana in this fresh roster of doomed souls are Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Anna Lore, Rya Kihlstedt, and Brec Bassinger, with horror icon Tony Todd (Candyman) making his much-anticipated return—because what’s Final Destination without a little cryptic wisdom from Death’s most knowing messenger?

A Franchise Reborn

Directed by Zach Lipovsky & Adam B. Stein (Freaks), and produced by Jon Watts (Spider-Man: No Way Home) and Craig Perry (Final Destination series), Bloodlines promises to deliver the jaw-dropping, Rube Goldberg-style death sequences that fans have come to expect—while pulling back the curtain on the sinister design that has governed them all.

If the whispers from early production are to be believed, this entry will rewrite the rules, introducing a new force at play that could forever alter the way we understand Death’s game. Could this mean we’ll finally get answers about where it all started? Or is this just the beginning of an even deadlier cycle?

One thing is certain: cheating death has never been an option—and come May 16th, audiences will once again be reminded why.
