After a stunning opeing night with Black Coffee, Solomun’s marathon set brought even more magic to Greenwich. With a crowd ready to dance till dusk and a venue that felt even more dialed in, the night was pure London festival bliss.
If Black Coffee set the stage, then Solomun took it and ran with it for a full five hours straight—and what a run it was. Picture a festival where you don’t need to know a single track to feel like you’re in on every beat. That was the magic of Solomun’s set at Labyrinth on the Thames. From start to finish, his track selection was on point. Trust me, we must have done at least 30,000 steps, because we didn’t stop dancing.
The atmosphere has a proper vibe. It felt like the crowd had grown even warmer and more connected after the opening events. Maybe it was just the buzz of a third night of events, but everything just felt a touch more seamless. The sound was crisp, the production was dialed in to perfection, and you could tell the whole team had hit their stride by the time Solomun took over.
What really set the night apart was how easy it was to just lose yourself in the moment. The same stunning Greenwich backdrop and that magical sunset got plenty of love from everyone in our group. It felt like being on holiday without leaving London, people kept saying it reminded them of Ushuaia in Ibiza, just with that unique Thames twist.
And yeah, it’s worth noting: by the third night, everything felt even more polished. It’s not that Black Coffee’s night wasn’t incredible, it absolutely was, but Solomun’s set had the benefit of a team that had already gotten into the groove. Even the stage and sound seemed that little bit more dialed in.
In short, if you were lucky enough to either nights, you witnessed two incredible sides of the same coin. And if you missed it, well, you’ve definitely got to catch the next edition. Follow Labyrinth now, to stay up to date with all the latest event info!
