Juliyaa has just won Best New Music Act at the GUBA Awards so you know you are getting a great show when this lady is in the building! She is full of sass and her musical style is something she calls ‘rhythmic soul’. Her latest song is called ‘The Rhythm’ – when you hear it, your hips will start moving before you even realise!
StooShe is a 3 piece girl group from South London, signed to Warner Music bringing a mixture of Rock, Hip Hop and a bit of Grime to their music. They performed at the Wireless Festival and with one of the members a graduate from The BRIT School, these girls are set for big things this coming year and we can’t wait for their set on Flavour Live.
Lioness is one of the hardest female rappers coming from the UK at the moment. Her bars are fire with great lyrical talent, heartfelt and personal content and her energy – WOW. She is one to keep your eye firmly fixed on, if it’s not already! Whilst Misunderstood are a pair of guys that you will all remember from X Factor auditions. The pair impressed back then but were clearly ‘misunderstood’ as their dance and musical
talent is not to be taken lightly. Come get a slice of the boys at Flavour Live next week!
Jaye Parson | 2Amplified | Mighty are three acts all supported by Frosted Ice Inc. and are bringing their talents to the Flavour Live stage and performing three very different, individual sets on Tuesday. Jaye will be bringing the edgy sound; in East London his sound is received well within their ecliptic London lifestyle. Whilst 2Amplified the fierce female duo will be bringing a more Hip Hop/Soulful sound to the show , their musical style is very reminiscent of Floetry and ‘A Woman’s Scorn’ is the track we can’t wait for them to perform. Mighty (formerly known as N.Y.D) is coming with something fresh and new to get you moving to and we can wait for all three to each hit the stage!
UK music is on a rise with many of our home grown British stars making it big internationally this is a great time for other amazing artists to stand up and take the spotlight. So soulful acoustic singer Jack Colton will be bringing the love and AKS (pictured above) will be displaying his funky afrobeats style on stage. Commanding the attention of everyone with very unique their lyrical flows and vocal tones. Khalia is a young singer/songwriter that made an impression early on and has collaborated with producers who have worked with Lady Gaga no less! She can be recognised from her videos ‘Climb’ and ‘Touch Down’ which are in great television rotation and her latest mixtape which is also called ‘Touch Down’ is hot! Dewy Sinatra has had Choice FM air time, he’s been gigging up and down London, and now he is bringing his old school vibe that screams summer time chillaxing to Flavour! With an important gospel vibe, his latest track ‘Popular’ still has that classic Hip Hop feel to it and a fresh familiarity that you will love.
The Trinity Band describe themselves as more than just your average band and these guys from Derby are all about creating a musical presence which is illustrated through their sound and musical covers of popular tracks. The dynamic 5 piece group won Live and Unsigned 2011 earlier this year – don’t miss a chance to see these guys up close and personal!
As this is The End of Year Special we have packed even more performances in to the show to serenade and get you rocking until your ear drums are overflowing with great musical vibes – Flavour Live | End Of Year Bumper Special is sure to keep you going until we return in 2012!
