With the new Premier League season now in full swing we have reviewed the best Football Boot’s on the market to ensure the budding Cristiano Ronaldo’s and Lionel Messi’s amongst our readers are kitted out in the best footwear! Here are a few of our favourites:

Hummel Celestial K-Leather –

63231The German sports-wear company are often overlooked in the UK as a first choice when it comes to football boots, but the Danish based team have created a well-rounded boot that looks great. The Celestial K Leather were definitely one of our favourites as they appear to be one of the few manufacturers who have managed to perfectly combine light-weight and strength. One of the problems with boots such as the Nike Hypervenoms is that despite their incredible light weight they often leave the player feeling unprotected. Hummel have created a light-weight boot perfect for the swift-footed skilful attacker without making them think twice about diving into the next 50/50 challenge. The Kangaroo leather ensure maximum comfort and the simple design give them a classic feel! We were pleasantly surprised when we tested out the Celestial K-Leather as we found an exceptional pair of football boots at half the price of some of their competitors.

Umbro Speciali 4-

l_644900The Umbro Specialis are legendary with generations of football players and when you try on their latest offering you feel as if you are wearing something iconic. The black and pink colour-way ensure the boots maintain its traditional heritage whilst introducing some modern flair with the addition of the neon pink laces and logo. Worn by players such as Joe Hart, Andy Carroll and Eric Dier the Umbro Sepcialis impressed us when we got to try them out. The leather material allows the boot a luxury feel ensuring comfort throughout the game whilst allowing an honest touch of the ball. Despite the strong leather material the boots never felt heavy meaning they are ideal for any position.

Speaking about the new boots Sporting Lisbons Eric Dier said ”I like the Speciali because of the soft leather. Being comfortbable is the most important thing for me. The contrast between the traditional black and vibrant pink is great. It’s a traditional boot with a modern twist.” The Umbo Speciali 4 are ideal for those who like their boots with a touch of class and heritage!

Puma Power Cats –

16676Worn by stars such as Cesc Fabregas, Yaya Toure and Sergio Aguero the Puma Power Cats offer more power, more precision and more protection. Weighing 276grams the boot felt comfortable and easily manoeuvrable with the ball at my feet whilst also feeling sturdy enough to go into strong challenges. The vibrant colour of the boots make you stand out amongst other players and I feel they are most adequate for defenders or midfielder who like to be in the thick of things. Ball control felt natural and true and I felt confident the boots could do whatever I intended.
