The Engineers

Ade Oshineye, Google
Ade Oshineye is a Senior Developer Advocate in Google’s London office and works on the Google+ project. Over the last decade he’s worked on trading systems for a variety of investment banks as well as on Google’s advertising and mobile search systems. He’s also the co-author of “Apprenticeship Patterns”: a book that teaches you how to learn to be a great programmer. He’s particularly interested in Developer Experience, distributed systems and the future of online news.

Rodney Lendore, SAVVIS
Rodney Lendore is a Network Solutions Implementation Engineer for SAVVIS, A CenturyLink company. Rodney specialises in the distribution of market data from major exchanges to financial customers, in New York, London, Singapore, Hong Kong and others across the Globe. Prior to this he has worked at Vodafone and CISCO Systems. Outside of SAVVIS, he has been a volunteer with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (the IET) for nearly 6 years.

Bode Osenie, Bode Sharp Coaching
Bode Sharp Coaching (BSC) was set up by Bode Osenie because of his personal passion for learning and seeing the explosive need for coaching, speaking and consulting services. Bode has a diverse background of Law, IT and Project Management. His personable approach to people and coaching has given him great communication skills on a business and personal level. Known for his engaging and innovative presentations, Bode’s unique style of speaking and delivery with the right amount of humour, leaves his audiences ready to take action leading to effective results.

Joseph Quashie, Network Rail
Joseph Quashie is a Project Engineer at Network Rail within the Thameslink Programme. As a member of the High Capacity Infrastructure project team he is currently working on the implementation of a new signalling system which will allow the frequency of train services to be increased in the central London area. This will also provide benefits to passengers in locations further afield such as Bedford and Brighton.

Prior to joining Network Rail, Joseph spent over 6 years working as a Mechanical Design Engineer for BAE Systems in the defence avionics industry. In this role he worked on a number of high profile defence programmes including; the Eurofighter Typhoon, the F-35 Lightning II (Joint Strike Fighter) and the Eurocopter Tiger (Helicopter).

Debbie Sterling, GoldieBlox
Debbie Sterling is an engineer and founder of GoldieBlox, a toy company out to inspire the next generation of female engineers. She has made it her mission in life to tackle the gender gap in science, technology, engineering and math.

Marie Kouadio Amouzame, Google
Marie Kouadio Amouzame is an Associate Product Marketing Manager based in Google’s Paris office and her mission is to help French SMBs digitize and be more visible online. Her background is in computer networks and telco. She has worked as a project manager for a French Telco company, went back to school to get a business degree, and joined Google 3 years ago as a Sales for our advertising solution, AdWords. She also launched a tshirt brand, Popinjay a few months ago and her other passions are art, fashion, and all things geek.
